Wrestlemania 34 Pro Wrestling Betting Odds Update

–’Wrestlemania’ is considered the ‘Super Bowl’ of the WWE.

– Just like the Super Bowl proposition bets on Wrestlemania are a natural.

– Wrestlemania 34 will take place in New Orleans on Sunday, April 8, 2018

Wrestlemania 34 will take place at the New Orleans Superdome on Sunday, April 8 2018. Wrestlemania is the biggest event of the year for the WWE and from fairly humble beginnings on closed circuit TV has become hugely popular. It’s drawn a live gate of 70,000+ every year for the past decade including a crowd of 101,763 for Wrestlemania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Last year, the event took place in Orlando, Florida and drew 75,245 to the Camping World Stadium.

It’s also the biggest WWE event in terms of significance. The company pulls out all the stops for Wrestlemania and its where the most significant storylines culminate. In most years, the WWE Championship or other top belt is defended in the main event. This year’s main event remains ‘TBA’ at this point (and we’ve even got a prop bet on it) but it will very likely be Roman Reigns against Brock Lesnar for Lesnar’s Universal Title. Another big match on the show will be former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey joining up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match. The WWE is hoping that Rousey will become as big a draw as a pro wrestler as she was as a MMA fighter.

Neither of the aforementioned matches has captured the public like the return match of Daniel Bryan aka Brian Danielson. The artist formerly known as ‘The American Dragon’ has led to a surge in interest as well as increased ticket sales. He’s currently booked to make his return in a tag team match with Shane McMahon against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. There’s another question mark there–Shane McMahon was recently hospitalized and treated for diverticulitis. It’s hard to see him actually participating in this match and there have been rumors that Kane will take his place. For now, however, the WWE is continuing to promote the match as originally booked. Another injury–AJ Styles has been less than 100% with a knee injury though the WWE hasn’t acknowledged it publicly.

It wouldn’t be Wrestlemania without a rumor of a big celebrity appearing. This year that celebrity might be UFC superstar Conor McGregor. McGregor is forever being linked with a move to the WWE a la Ronda Rousey but there’s a fair amount of speculation in the European press that he’ll show up this year. For what it’s worth, recent comments about McGregor from John Cena have only fueled this speculation.

Below you’ll find odds on Wrestlemania 34 along with a few props. I’ve included the John Cena vs. Undertaker match that is expected to be announced this week but haven’t included the RAW Tag Team Championship match where Cesaro and Sheamus are defending against Braun Strowman and a ‘mystery partner’. There’s also odds on Conor McGregor making his appearance in New Orleans:
