‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 14 Week 10 Betting Odds

–This is the 14th season for Fox TVs ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

–Episode 10 of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ will air live on Monday, August 21 at 8 PM Eastern.

–Vanessa Hudgens will join Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as judges.

The second live show of the season for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ produced the first elimination from the top ten contestants. It also delivered a nice ‘bounce back’ viewership for Fox as it attracted 2.81 million viewers. It was only good for third in the time slot behind ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ on ABC and ‘American Ninja Warrior’ on NBC but it represented a solid increase in viewership after eight straight weeks in decline. The season premiere of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 14 attracted 3.56 million viewers but by Week 9 that had dropped to 2.57 million viewers with each week lower than the one before. It’s not a great number in context of the overall season but with the show reportedly ‘life or death’ for renewal the producers had to be happy to finally see their viewership moving in the right direction.

Week 10 also brought about a shakeup in the overall ‘to win’ odds as well as some adjustments in the weekly odds. Robert Green became the first contestant eliminated with Logan Hernandez and Sydney Tormey rounding out the bottom three. There’s every reason to expect another elimination every week for the rest of the way. Since the dancers are now performing live every week the odds could continue to change as the ‘contenders’ are quickly separated from the rest of the pack.
