‘Big Brother’ Season 19 Week 8 Betting Odds

–CBS has renewed the long running ‘Big Brother’ reality show for a 19th and 20th season.

–’Big Brother’ is a spin-off of a Dutch TV series of the same name.

–’Big Brother’ airs Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday on CBS TV.

Jessica Graf was our favorite to be eliminated when we did the updated odds for ‘Big Brother’ last week and true to form she got the boot on Thursday’s live eviction show. Graf was a very controversial presence in the house and among fans and this was clearly reflected in her odds–not only was the the favorite to be eliminated heading into this week’s show she was also a +500 choice to win the whole thing. Interestingly, she was in the middle the pack of 2nd through 11th places suggesting that public opinion on her was severely bifurcated. She appeared to be resigned to her fate well before the Thursday live show which no doubt gave her time to craft the impressive ‘promo’ she cut on the way out.

The ratings for Thursday are still forthcoming but the Sunday and Wednesday shows continued to put up strong numbers. Sunday had a 2.0 rating–the highest for any episode this year–with an 8 share. 6.56 million people watched the show second only to last Wednesday’s show which attracted 6.57 million viewers. The viewership from week to week was down somewhat on Wednesday as only 6.39 million people tuned in but the rating stayed the same as the show turned in a 1.9/8.

Below you’ll find the revised odds for Season 19. Look for another set of odds for the live eviction show to air on Thursday, August 17 coming soon:
