WWE Extreme Rules 2018 Pro Wrestling Betting Odds

–WWE Extreme Rules 2018 will take place on July 15, 2018 at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.

–WWE Extreme Rules 2018 is the tenth ‘Extreme Rules’ event in WWE history.

–There are 7 championship matches on the Extreme Rules 2018 card

The WWE once again has a PPV event coming immediately on the heels of a solid New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) event this weekend as ‘WWE Extreme Rules 2018’ takes place in Pittsburgh, PA. It’s doubtful that the WWE is worried about NJPW ‘taking over’ the United States market but the comparisons will be inevitable due if nothing else to the fact that ‘G1 Special in San Francisco’ was held–surprise, surprise–in Northern California.

The last WWE PPV was a mixed bag from a qualitative standpoint. ‘Money in the Bank 2018‘ took place on June 17 in Chicago and had some good matches and serious duds. The two ‘Money in the Bank’ matches each received four stars or higher as did a WWE World Championship match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. At the other end of the spectrum, two matches on the card rated lower than two stars with Carmella v. Asuka getting 1.5 stars and Sami Zayn v. Bobby Lashey scoring a dismal 1.25 stars.

So far during 2018 this has been typical of WWE PPV events. You never know what you’ll get and ‘WWE Extreme Rules 2018’ is no exception. There are a number of potentially excellent matchups and just as many potential trainwrecks. There’s also the potential that the show will be used more for setting up the storylines at August’s ‘Summer Slam’ card than anything else.
