Hell’s Kitchen Season 17 with Gordon Ramsey Episode 5 Betting Odds
–’Hell’s Kitchen’ hosted by Chef Gordon Ramsay is entering it’s 17th season on Fox.
–The season 17 winner will become head chef at the new Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
–Episode 5 of ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Season 17 will air on November 3, 2017 at 8:00 PM Eastern on Fox
NOTE: Episode 5 was pre-empted due to the World Series on Friday, October 27.
The women aka the ‘Red Team’ had something of a comeback in Episode 4 winning the both reward challenge and service challenge. They weren’t great on the service but the ‘Blue Team’ aka the men had a complete meltdown for the first time this season. Josh Trovato (who I still consider a pretty strong contender this season) had a really lousy dinner service punctuated by screwing up his risotto. Risotto is definitely a tricky dish to cook but that’s something that a professional chef is supposed to make look easy. The Blue Team’s denouement was their raw Beef Wellington’s (another very tricky dish to cook) and that got them kicked out of the kitchen. In other words, the Red Team didn’t so much miss this one as the Blue Team lost it. I’d hate to get kicked out of the kitchen for not being able to serve a meal suitable for former Playboy Playmate (and the longtime ‘significant other’ of KISS bassist Gene Simmons) Shannon Tweed.
The big twist came at elimination where instead of being sent home Josh was….send to the ‘Red Team’ trading places with Robyn Almodovar. This should be entertaining….
Earlier in the episode, the Red Team gets a trip to Santa Barbara for their Reward Challenge victory. We learned that Robyn Almodovar was ‘in heaven’ watching the rest of the women ‘rock their bikinis’ and in the interest of handicapping professionalism this required me to do a bit of ‘due diligence’. The current heartthrob among the ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ fanbase appears to be Manda Palomino. She’s near the top of my ‘next to be eliminated’ odds market but this could keep her around for awhile (anime geeks call it ‘fan service’). Depending on which version of her backstory you get she may or may not have been a stripper at one point. She’s listed as a ‘former go-go dancer’ in her official ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ bio but that’s often a nice way of saying that she was a ‘former stripper’. I couldn’t find any validation of her being a stripper on the Internet but I did found some ‘go-go dancer’ footage from her MySpace page:

I also located a boudoir shoot she did with a New Jersey photo studio called Beauridge Photography. Incidentially, my wife is a photographer and she was impressed with the quality of these pictures. Considering she spends a lot of time forwarding bad boudoir photography for me to laugh it that’s significant praise.
