‘Big Brother’ Season 20 Betting Odds Episode 14

–The long running ‘Big Brother’ reality show is back for a 20th season.

–’Big Brother’ is a spin-off of a Dutch TV series of the same name.

–Episode 14 of ‘Big Brother’ Season 20 airs Thursday, July 26 on CBS TV.

I get that CBS has a huge ratings ‘cash cow’ in ‘Big Brother’ and thus they need to milk it accordingly. With three episodes a week I also realize that not every one can be ‘action packed’ and that the format predicates that two of the weekly shows build toward the ‘live elimination’ show. Maybe it’s just me but it sure seems like Season 20 of ‘Big Brother’ is just moving at a glacial pace. I don’t know whether it’s the cast is a bunch of dullards (though in my opinion they’re one of the least interesting ‘BB’ houseguest groups I can recall) or that the editing of the show has been horrible but it has been downright excruciating. Thankfully, I only have to do odds on the weekly ‘live elimination’ show.

So we’re 14 episodes in to Season 20 and there have been just *three* houseguests eliminated. Episode 11 saw Winston Hines get the heave-ho. Not a huge surprise as he was something of a divisive character and this was reflected in the odds for Episode 11. He was the third choice to be eliminated at +500 but also the third choice to win it all at +750. This happens quite a bit not only in ‘Big Brother’ but in all of the ‘voted off the island’ format reality shows.
